Angel Island

Join us for a gorgeous summer day on the Bay! We are heading to Angel Island for an incredible 6-mile loop hike with breathtaking 360° views, plus a classic ferryboat ride. 

When:  Saturday, July 11th

Where: Angel Island (Meeting at Lafayette BART or SF Ferry Building)

What to bring: A picnic lunch, water, layers (it can get windy!), and sturdy walking shoes. 

The Plan & Timeline:

◦ 8:45 AM: Meet at Lafayette BART to head into the city.

◦ 9:45 AM: Meet up at the SF Ferry Building (Gate B) for those joining in San Francisco.

◦ 10:15 AM: Ferry departs to Angel Island!

◦ The Hike: A mostly flat, wide 6-mile loop trail with a few fun inclines and amazing vistas.

◦ The Picnic: We will stop for lunch along the trail near Quarry Point.

◦ Heading Home: We'll target the 3:20 PM ferry back to SF (arriving at 3:50 PM), with a later 4:50 PM option if we decide to linger! 

Ferry Payment: You can pay at the gate using a Clipper card or credit card.

Plus Ones: Friends, family, and hiking buddies are absolutely welcome. Feel free to invite others!
