Robby Kendall portrays Jack Bledsoe, a middle-aged gay man, who hopes his new job as an Entertainment Director will give him the creative outlet he needs to produce his ground-breaking ideas. But when he’s first tasked by his boss to find and book a Drag Queen, his world begins to unravel as his internalized homophobia takes center stage. Jack’s past quickly becomes his present while he struggles to redefine relationships with his partner and with himself.
Written & directed by Robby, inspired by his true story, the film was locally produced in the East Bay where Robby also lives.
Robby will be present at the screening along with some of the actors and there will be a Q&A to follow.
